Four Cases of Foreign Bodies in the Bladder

Abstract
|
|
|
Most foreign bodies in the urinary bladder are self-intorduced through the urethra as a means of masturbation.
The author have experienced 4 cases of foreign bodies in the badder which have various purposes of introducting through the urethra.
They were 3 in male and 1 in female and they are as follows.
Case 1:25-year-old male.
A ball pen cap which was tied with two electric wires was introdced into bladder through the urethra by the prostitutes. It was removed out with the foreignbody forcep under the cystoscopy.
Case 2:15-year-old girl.
A pencil was introduced into the bladder through the urethra by herself from curiosity 3 years before visiting our office and large stone was formed and wrapped the pencil later. It was removed out through the suprapubic cystostomy.
Case 3:50-year-old male.
5 magnets were introduced into the bladder by himself for the purpose of forceful penile erection and they were all of a lump and stone was formed between the 5 magnets. They were removed out through the suprapubic cystostomy.
Case 4:37-year-old male.
74cm in length, 3mm in diameter white rubber was introduced into the bladder for the purpose of masterbation. In was removed out with the grasping forcep under the cystoscopy.
